Project Overview & National Identity
VORQASTRA — INDIA is an advanced interactive solar system and spaceflight simulator developed to deliver authentic orbital mechanics, interplanetary transit trajectory planning, and high-fidelity spacecraft simulation in an accessible web experience. Engineered in India as an educational simulation platform, VORQASTRA provides interactive aerospace visualization across the solar system.
Keplerian Solar System: 28+ celestial bodies modeled with real NASA orbital parameters, inclinations, eccentricities, and axial tilts.
Dual Speed-Control System: Fully independent controls for global planetary time progression (with reverse playback and custom multipliers) and player spacecraft velocity.
Space Shuttle Orbiter Simulation: Exterior orbiter with thermal protection tiles, realistic RCS/OMS thrusters, and interactive 360° glass cockpit flight deck.
Interplanetary Mission Planner: Hohmann transfer calculations, delta-v budgets, flight durations, and solar radiation hazard modeling.
Scale Tour: Seamless cosmic zoom from Earth across astronomical units to our local stellar neighborhood and the Milky Way.
Technologies Used
JavaScript (ES6+), Three.js (WebGL 3D Rendering), GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform), HTML5 Canvas, Web Audio API, and CSS3 Hardware-Accelerated Transforms.

Project Branding & Historical Heritage Notice
VORQASTRA — INDIA is an independent educational aerospace simulation project.
Authentic Space Shuttle Atlantis Heritage: The simulated Space Shuttle Atlantis (OV-104) is an authentic historical simulation of NASA's orbiter spacecraft, preserved with its authentic United States flag, NASA insignia, thermal protection system tile markings, and historical vehicle identity. VORQASTRA is the interactive simulator platform identity, not the owner or manufacturer of NASA flight hardware, nor is Atlantis represented as an ISRO spacecraft. NASA and Solar System Scope textures and datasets are referenced under public domain and CC BY 4.0 licenses.
